Happy New Year! As we welcome 2025, I’d like to take a moment to reintroduce myself and share my journey. My name is Alison Wojciechowski, founder of Alison Interior Designs, based in sunny Florida. My passion for design has been a lifelong journey shaped by challenges, perseverance, and a deep love for creating spaces that inspire.
From New Jersey Roots to a Design Career
Born and raised in New Jersey, I faced unique challenges growing up due to a medical condition that resulted in a lifelong disability. These experiences taught me resilience and the importance of creating environments that offer both comfort and functionality.
My journey into the world of design began in high school when I discovered AutoCAD. Those classes ignited a passion that led me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Kean University. During my time at Kean, I gained valuable experience through internships that deepened my understanding of the industry and fueled my dream of becoming a designer.
From Cold Winters to Sunny Florida
In 2019, I made the life-changing decision to move to Florida, leaving behind the cold winters for a brighter future. While the transition came with its own set of challenges, including a period of the pandemic and job searching, I eventually found opportunities through internships and design roles. However, I realized that working behind the scenes wasn’t fulfilling my creative aspirations.
In 2023, I took a leap of faith and founded Alison Interior Designs, LLC. This decision allowed me to take control of my vision and specialize in helping clients transform their spaces into dream homes. We will work with any client. However we specialize in working with snowbirds, second home buyers and vacation homes.
